They need you now
Every minute counts when disasters strike.
Animals might not survive the wait. Your small monthly gift powers fast rescues, food, water, medical care, and shelter.
IFAW teams and partners are on the ground helping animals survive fires, floods, storms, and conflict. With your help, more animals will make it to safety.
Why your gift matters
Your gift could help in so many ways:
- £3/month could provide elephant calves with the special milk they need to survive.
- £5/month could provide vital medical care for injured animals.
- £8/month could fund emergency evacuation from warzones for animals like Yuna.
- £10/month could fund search and rescue efforts for animals trapped by floodwaters or wildfires.

Yuna had nowhere to go when the war hit.
She had been kept illegally in captivity in a tiny concrete enclosure—just three by four metres—most likely for breeding. Over time, she became overweight, developed painful wounds from the cold concrete, and grew too weak to even stand.
When heavy shelling struck the Kyiv region, debris fell close to her enclosure. The blast caused Yuna to suffer a life‑threatening concussion, leaving her disoriented and terrified.
Thanks to supporters like you, she was rescued, treated, and brought to safety. Today, Yuna is recovering in a new home—finally able to walk, explore, and live the peaceful life she deserves.
Your donation today ensures we can respond faster—saving animals who would otherwise not survive.
